Founder and Leader of the MQM Mr Altaf Hussain has felicitated the workers and supporters of the MQM on the 15th Foundation Day of Muttahida Quami Movement on 26th July and said that the philosophy of the MQM has become the herald of a revolution in the country. Mr Hussain said that the message of the MQM was spreading speedily across the length and breadth of the country which was evident by the fact that people belonging to different nationalities, speaking different languages and following different religion were coming to the MQM and making practical efforts for their rights.

MQM, ANP vows to work together in Karachi

the Muttahida Qaumi Movement and the Awami National Party (ANP), the two rival but coalition parties have been agreed to evolve a joint strategy for bringing peace in Karachi, the economic hub of the country. The two parties agreed to take action against every criminal without any discrimination, implementing over the zero-tolerance policy. An MQM delegation, which has been meeting political parties of the country calling for unity, met with ANP leaders in Islamabad on Wednesday.

The MQM believes that all political and religious parties in the country would have to get united for taking the country out of current crises. Abdul Waheed was the worker of Unit CB – 1 of the PIB Sector of the MQM. He expressed sympathies to the bereaved family members and said that their loss was equally shared by him and all the workers of the MQM. He also prayed Almighty Allah to shower his blessings on the departed soul.

Altaf Hussain condemns blast near Chinese consulate in Karachi

Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has strongly condemned the bomb blast near the Chinese consulate in Karachi. He expressed his sorrow on the injuring of one Rangers personnel and two other persons in the blast. He said that China is a long-standing and time-honoured friend of Pakistan and Chinese engineers have been working on development projects in Pakistan. He regretted that despite the role played by China in the development of the country, the Chinese engineers were kidnapped and some were even killed in a ruthless manner.

Muhammad Ashfaq and Qasim Ali Raza become joint in-chargesMember of the Co-ordination Committee Mr Mustafa Azizabadi has been made the In-charge of the International Secretariat of the MQM in London. This was decided in a meeting of the Co-ordination Committee in which important decisions were taken for conducting the affairs of the international secretariat in a co-ordinated manner. Members of the Co-ordination Committee Mr Muhammad Ashfaq and Mr Muhammad Qasim Ali Raza have been made joint in-charges of the secretariat. Mr Altaf Hussain, founder and leader of the MQM, has approved the decisions of the Co-ordination Committee.
