MQM delegations start meeting with Ulema for Peace, Stability and Harmony

On the special instructions of Mr Altaf Hussain, the founder and leader of the MQM, the Co-ordination Committee and elected representatives of the MQM have started meeting Ulema belonging to different schools of thought. A delegation of the Co-ordination Committee called upon Allama Tanivirul Haque Thanvi, Maulana Qari Iqbal and Mufti Muhammad Naeem in their respective offices separately.

Muhammad Ashfaq and Qasim Ali Raza become joint in-chargesMember of the Co-ordination Committee Mr Mustafa Azizabadi has been made the In-charge of the International Secretariat of the MQM in London. This was decided in a meeting of the Co-ordination Committee in which important decisions were taken for conducting the affairs of the international secretariat in a co-ordinated manner. Members of the Co-ordination Committee Mr Muhammad Ashfaq and Mr Muhammad Qasim Ali Raza have been made joint in-charges of the secretariat. Mr Altaf Hussain, founder and leader of the MQM, has approved the decisions of the Co-ordination Committee.

MQM manifesto committee meeting held

A meeting of the Manifesto Committee of the MQM was held on Sunday in Khursheed Begum Secretariat. The meeting was chaired by deputy convener of the Co-ordination Committee Dr Farooq Sattar. The meeting took stock of the implementation on the 2008 manifesto of the MQM. A subcommittee was formed for the preparation of the 2012 manifesto.

Deputy Convener of the Co-ordination Committee of the MQM Dr Farooq Sattar has said that no one can stop the creation of the southern Punjab province. He said that the MQM was the first to submit the resolution for the southern Punjab province in the National Assembly and the MQM would do everything possible for making the new province in South Punjab a reality. He was addressing a public meeting in Mumtazabad area of Multan. Member of the Co-ordination Committee Mr Wasay Jalil and local office-bearers of the MQM were also present on the occasion.

Dr Farooq Sattar has said that internal and external threats are hovering over the national security of Pakistan. People belonging to different spheres of life would have to think of the interest of the country by setting aside parochial differences and party politics. He said this while addressing a meeting of all the wings of the MQM in Khursheed Begum Secretariat near Nine Zero. Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has said that the analysis presented by him in the light of the overall international situation calls for stability, solidarity, brotherhood and sectarian harmony so that the country could be pulled back from imminent dangers. Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has felicitated Muslims throughout the world including Pakistan on the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan. He said that Ramadan is the month in which the door of the blessings is opened. This is the month in which we fast for getting the blessings of Almighty Allah and it adds to piety. He prayed Allah to shower His blessings on Pakistan in the holy month of Ramadan.
