The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has strongly condemned the blast in Muzaffarabad area of Landhi and termed it a cowardly act of terrorism. He said that the elements working against the country were behind the unending wave of terrorism in the city. He said that the terrorists were spilling the blood of innocent people in the city which was highly condemnable. He expressed sympathies on the deaths due to the blast and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.
Mr Hussain demanded President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik, Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan and Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah to take serious notice of the Landhi blast. He said that the terrorists should be brought to justice and given exemplary punished according to law.
