MQM Founder and Leader Altaf Hussain has said that the government should first try to take back the powers of the prime minister before asking MQM members of parliament to withdraw their resignations.
“PM Nawaz Sharif can order for allowing the MQM to open its offices, but he is not giving such an order. If he has any compulsion, he should tell the nation openly. If he did not come clean with the facts, then I will disclose to the nation the facts that I have.”
Mr Hussain said this while addressing a big meeting in Lal Qila Ground in Azizabad

MQM Founder and Leader Altaf Hussain has said linking the arrest of former federal minister Dr Asim Hussain to MQM was a gross injustice. He said the arrest of Dr Asim was unfortunate. He was addressing MQM Co-ordination Committee and other office-bearers at Nine Zero.
Mr Hussain said, “Dr Asim is a close friend of former president Asif Zardari. Chief Minister of Sindh raised eyebrows on his arrest and termed it an attack on Sindh. The Chief Minister said although he is the captain of the operation yet he is not informed about arrests.”
