The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has strongly condemned the brutal killing of the
MQM candidate from PS – 47 Hyderabad Fakhr-ul-Islam by armed terrorists near Hala Naka in Hyderabad. He has termed it a cowardly act and blatant terrorism. Fakhrul Islam was the Joint Unit In-charge of Unit 16 of the MQM Hyderabad Sector. He had also been elected as a councillor in the past.

Muttahida Qaumi Movement and Jafferia Disaster Cell (JDC) agreed on Tuesday to undertake people’s welfare-oriented works jointly.
This was decided when an MQM delegation led by its deputy convener Dr Farooq Sattar visited the JDC’s central office located at Federal B’ Area’s Block 20.

Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain reiterated on Monday that MQM wanted Sindh to prosper and develop as the strong province will make Pakistan stronger.
The MQM chief was having telephonic conversation with a former Sindh MPA from Nawabshah and a prominent PPP leader, Inayat Hussain Rind after he, along with his followers, joined MQM during a visit to his Azizabad residence, popularly known as `Nine Zero’.

He said this while talking to former president of the Supreme Court Bar Association, former president of the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan and prominent lawyer Asma Jahangir on telephone.
