Recent Price hike in petroleum products will have worse impact on economy. MQM’s newly elected MNA term the action ‘Illogical’

MNAs of MQM have called upon ministry of petroleum to revert the recent hike in petrol – The price are to be increased from 1st June 2013, by Rs.2.81 on petrol- and do not put further burden on already depriving poor people.  The legislators mentioned that the people are already oppressed because of inflation and are compelled to starve and badly depriving while this price hike will further put tremendous pressure on masses and will directly impact their lives.
They said that in this transition period where the power was going to be handed over to newly elected government and people were already anticipating the new financial budget, the price hike by interim government is illogical and a clear sign of oppression and it must be condemned.
The MQM’s legislators demanded president Asif Ali Zardari and caretaker Prime Minister Mir Hazar Khan Khoso that they should take serious notice of the recent price hike in petroleum products and provide some relief to masses by reverting the price reasonably.
