The Minorities Committee of the Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) organized a colourful programme at Nine Zero on the eve of Christmas. Deputy Convener of the Co-ordination Committee Dr Farooq Sattar and member of the committee Wasim Aftab congratulated the Christian community living across the country. The programme started with special prayers and pastors and bishops from different churches of the city attended the programme.

The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has said that Hazrat Isa (AS) gave the world the message of peace, love, brotherhood and dignity for mankind. He spent his life in preaching this message and “our message is also the same as that of Hazrat Isa (AS).”He said this while talking at Nine Zero to a prayer gathering held on the eve of Christmas.

The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has said it is necessary to eradicate terrorism and extremism in order to transform Pakistan according to the golden principles of the Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. It has become inevitable all political and religious parties adopt a solid and effective line of action for this purpose. In his message on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the Quaid-i-Azam, Mr Hussain said that the Quaid-i-Azam was averse to all forms of religious extremism. He wanted to establish a system in Pakistan which was based upon religious harmony and social justice.

Altaf Hussain endorses the decision of the Co-ordination Committee
Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has announced three days of mourning on the martyrdom of senior ANP leader Bashir Ahmed Bilour along with several other people in a suicide attack in Peshawar. The decision was taken in a joint meeting of the Co-ordination Committee in London and Pakistan which was presided over by Mr Altaf Hussain, the founder and leader of the MQM. Mr Hussain expressed grief and sorrow on the martyrdom of the ANP leader along with several other people and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.
