MQM Senators, MNAs and MPAs donate one month’s salary for families affected by Baldia Town tragedy

The MQM Senators, MNAs and MPAs have announced to donate their one month’s salary for the families of the workers who were killed in the horrific fire in the ill-fated Baldia Town factory. This decision was taken in a joint sitting of the senators, the MNAs and the MPAs at the MQM headquarters in Azizabad. The elected representatives expressed their grief and sorrow on the loss of precious lives in the tragic fire incident and termed it a national tragedy. They also sympathized with the grief-stricken families. The elected representatives decided to donate their one month’s salary as token of their concern and to express solidarity with the affected families. They prayed Almighty Allah to shower his blessings on the deceased workers and prayed for the early recovery of the workers who had sustained injuries.

Federal government should order an inquiry on the arrival of infected sheep in Pakistan The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has expressed grave concerns on the arrival of infected sheep in Karachi from Australia. He has demanded the federal government to prohibit the selling of the infected sheep in Pakistan and send them back to Australia. He said that according to the reports of the medical tests conducted, the sheep were infected with disease and their meat was not fit for human consumption. He called for an inquiry into the arrival of infected sheep in Pakistan and said that they must be sent back in order to safeguard the people against diseases that may develop if their meat was consumed.

KKF sends second consignment of relief goods for the affected families of the Baldia Town tragedy

The consignment contains ration for two months for each family The second consignment of relief goods, worth several hundred thousand rupees, has been sent for the affected families of the Baldia Town tragedy on three trucks by the Khidmat-i-Khalq Foundation of the MQM. The KKF has started relief activities for the affected families on the special instructions of Mr Altaf Hussain, the founder and leader of the MQM. The trucks were sent in the presence of Deputy Conveners Dr Farooq Sattar, Mrs Nasreen Jalil, and members of the Co-ordination Committee Mr Wasay Jalil, Kunwar Khalid Yunus, and Aftakhar Akbar Randhawa.
