Black Day was observed today in connection with the military operation launched on June 19, 1992, especially against the MQM.  Fateha prayers were offered in homes in Pakistan and wall chalking was done in different areas

 In connection with the Black Day, Fateha was offered  at the MQM International Secretariat in London, members of the Central Coordination Committee and members of the Organizing Committee of the UK attended the condolence meetings and wore black armbands. Fateha were also offered in the chapters of the Overseas in connection with the Black Day

Tribute was paid to the martyrs in condolence meetings

 On Saturday, June 19, 1992, the day of the military operation launched against the MQM, especially the Mohajirs, was observed as a black day in Pakistan and overseas. It should be noted that on June 19, 1992, military operation was launched against the Mohajirs, especially the MQM.The Haqiqi  terrorists were brought to Karachi in military trucks and the MQM offices were attacked. MQM workers and leaders were abducted and tortured.They were martyred and wounded and under the auspices of the army, terrorism and cruelty were rampant throughout the city.  This day is observed every year by MQM as Black Day. This year too, June 19 was observed as Black Day and tributes were paid to the martyrs. In this regard, workers in Karachi and other cities in Pakistan offered Fateha for the martyrs at their homes.  Wall chalking was also done.  On the occasion of Black Day, Fateha was offered at MQM International Secretariat London for the reward of martyrs of 19 June 1992 in which Convener Tariq Jawaid, Members Central Coordination Committee, MQM UK Central Organiser Sohail Khanzada, Organising Committee Members and Coordinators were also present. 

 Black Day was also observed in all the Overseas Units of MQM. Fateha was offered in the chapters of Overseas Units in connection with the Black Day and tributes were paid to the martyrs. Using every social media platform, more and more scathing and protest statements, posters and video logs were taken out on the occasion of June 19. Pictures and news were posted about the operation to inform the new generation about the military operation.  In this regard, a hashtag جون_19_شب_خون# was also released which also trended on Twitter.
