This video film has presented the false, very untrue and negative image of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him). He demands that this humiliating video film should be ban immediately.

Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has announced three days of mourning on the tragic deaths of more than two hundred workers due to a raging fire in a factory in Baldia Town in Karachi. The decision was taken in a joint meeting of the Co-ordination Committee in London and Pakistan. The meeting termed the horrific incident a National Tragedy and decided to suspend all organizational activities of the MQM in order to pay full concentration on relief activities.

Stern action should be taken against all those found guilty of dereliction of duty
The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has asked Governor Sindh Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad and Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah to determine during the inquiry of the Baldia Town tragedy as to why there was no fire exit in the factory. He said that the causes behind the absence of the fire-fighting equipment and other safety measures should also be determined during the inquiry and responsibility should be fixed. He demanded stern action against all those found guilty of dereliction of duty.

He has demanded of Governor Sindh Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Governor of the Punjab Sardar Latif Khosa and Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif to present the details of the tragic incidents before the nation. He warned that the MQM would be forced to adopt its future line of action on the loss of lives if the Sindh and Punjab governments failed to bring the details and the real facts of the incidents before the nation. He also appealed to the provincial governments to leave everything else and concentrate on saving lives and putting out the fire, otherwise they should be ready to face the wrath of the people.

He said this while talking to the volunteers of the Khidmat-i-Khalq Foundation at a camp near the factory in Baldia Town. Deputy Convener of the Co-ordination Committee Dr Farooq Sattar, provincial minister Shaikh Muhammad Afzal and MPA Hanif Shaikh were also present at the camp to oversee relief work.

A delegation of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) paid a visit to the mausoleum of the founder of Pakistan Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah on the occasion of his 64th death anniversary. They laid floral wreath on behalf of Mr Altaf Hussain and paid glowing tributes to the founding father. The delegation included member of the Co-ordination Committee Dr Sagheer Ahmed, provincial ministers Khalid bin Wilayat, Abdul Haseeb, Advisor to the Chief Minister Sindh Khawaja Izharul Hassan and MPA Muzammil Qureshi. The delegation offered prayers for the survival and security of Pakistan, elimination of terrorism, sectarian harmony and progress and prosperity of the country.
