The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain telephoned the head of Awami National Party (ANP) Mr Asfandyar Wali and offered condolences on the martyrdom of the senior ANP leader Bashir Ahmed Bilour. He prayed Almighty Allah to shower His blessings on the souls of all the people killed in the suicide attack. He also prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.

Members of the Co-ordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Gulfaraz Khan Khattak, Aftakhar Randhawa and Yousuf Shahwani have said that the MQM believes in serving the humanity irrespective of religious beliefs, nationality, caste, colour and language. Both agreed on extending mutual co-operation and discussion for changing the decaying system and eliminating the archaic feudal system and corruption from the country. Mr Hussain welcomed the arrival of Dr Qadri in the country and expressed best wishes for him.
