MQM shows solidarity with Palestinians, The News International by Murtaza Ali Shah

The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) held a protest outside the Houses of Parliaments on Friday to express solidarity with the Palestinians in Gaza. The demonstrators were carrying placard which read "Save the Children of Gaza", "Peace, Not War", "We express solidarity with the people of Gaza" and "We strongly condemn atrocities against the people of Gaza". The solidarity demonstration was held after the MQM leader Altaf Hussain called on his party to observe a day of solidarity with the Palestinians and help the occupied people highlight their case and the in human conditions under which they are forced to live. Hussain has questioned the United Nations Security Council, Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Pakistani government over their "blatant silence" on the suffering of Palestinians and have called on the world power, to end their Insensitivity" and "cold-heartedness' over the issue which relates to peace in the world.

Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) organized a protest demonstration outside the UK Houses of Parliament today in order to express solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian people of Gaza. MQM workers hailing from different areas of London and sympathizers, including women and elderly people, took part in the demonstration. Members of the Co-ordination Committee of the MQM in London Mr Muhammad Ashfaque, Mr Saleem Shahzad and organizer of the MQM UK Dr Saleem Danish were also present on occasion.

MQM will observe Day of Solidarity with the oppressed people of Gaza today. Demonstration will be held all over Pakistan after Jumma prayers for the Solidarity with the people of Gaza.
MQM founder & leader Mr. Altaf Hussain has appealed to the people of Pakistan to come forward and attend peaceful protest after Jumma prayers and show solidarity shoulder to shoulder with the innocent people of Palestine who are brutally killed, tortured, injured and displaced from their homes.

The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has deplored the deadly suicide blast in the procession of mourners on Misriyal Road in Dhoke Syedian area of Rawalpindi. Expressing his grief and sorrow on the martyrdom of several persons in the blast and injuring of many others, Mr Hussain said that if the killings of the mourners and other innocent people continued relentlessly, the fire of terrorism would engulf the entire country.

He was received at the secretariat by members of the Co-ordination Committee. Governor Khosa was accompanied by Pakistani High Commissioner in London Mr Wajid Shamsul Hassan and Community Welfare Officer of the Pakistani High Commission Mr Balkh Sher Khosa.

Founder & Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has appealed to the people of Pakistan to come forward and attend peaceful protest after Jumma prayer on Friday, 23rd November 2012 and show solidarity shoulder to shoulder with the innocent people of Palestine who are the victims of Israel.
In his statement Mr. Hussain said that now the time has come that Muslim umma should choose their brave, courageous, honest leaders. Who only have the fear of God and no one else? We request that all the Pakistanis should show solidarity shoulder to shoulder with the innocent Palestinian who are brutally killed, tortured, injured and displaced from their homes.

Terrorists want to create instability and insecurity in the country
The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has strongly the condemned the blast on the Smangli Road in Quetta, Balochistan and expressed his grief and sorrow on the loss of lives and injuries to many people. He said that the elements targeting the security forces in Balochistan in the present critical situation of the province wanted to create instability and insecurity in the country by carrying out such acts of terrorism.
