In a statement issued from London on the occasion of International Women’s Day, Mr. Hussain said, “ MQM is the only party which presented the bill for the ‘Protection of Women’ in the assembly and got it approved with convincing arguments.

Mr Altaf Hussain, Founder and Leader of MQM, has vehemently condemned the killings of two MQM workers and supporters in Gulbahar area of Karachi. He said that MQM worker Muhammad Ali was sitting with an MQM supporter Hamid in a restaurant on Friday evening when four assailant riding on two motorcycles targeted them. Hamid died at the spot whereas MQM worker Muhammad Ali succumbed to injuries at Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
