MQM demands elections under army supervision
 Posted on: 12/28/2015
Member Coordination Committee Muhammad Hussain demanded to depute Army personnel on polling day of local bodies’ elections in Nawabshah, Tando Allahyar and Tando Jam.
Talking to a press conference at Nawabshah Press Club, MQM leader said, “Despite all the discriminations people still are supporting MQM Chief Mr. Altaf Hussain.” He demanded to empower Rangers for the entire province to eliminate terrorism and corruption.
Muhammad Hussain said, “MQM is one of the largest political parties in the country struggling against the obsolete feudal system to provide due rights to unprivileged people.” He said that MQM would bring harmony and equality among the people without concerning their religions, sects and creeds.
He said that MQM nominated its representatives for local bodies’ elections at 41 wards out of 43 wards of Nawabshah Municipal Committee and it would be now the people’s responsibilities to cast their votes in favour of Altaf Hussain’s candidates. He said that MQM had already showed concerns on elections’ process and demanded to ensure peaceful polling on the day.
Muhammad Hussain said that the honorable court had given the verdict in favour of MQM’s application regarding delimitations. He demanded to take notice against the pre-poll rigging as Sindh government was continuously reshuffling the administrative officers.
Meanwhile, member Coordination Committee Syed Aminul Haq said that MQM was the only political party which awarded tickets to educated people despite their religious and race. He said that people of Nawabshah would definitely cast their votes for MQM on 30th December and the District Chairman would belong to MQM.
