I respect British justice system: Altaf Hussain

Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain yesterday said that he believes and respects the justice system of Britain.He was addressing the workers and supporters of the party who thronged '90' in Karachi and main offices of MQM in Hyderabad, Sukkur , Mirpurkhas, Nawabshah and other cities after bail notices of Altaf Hussain were cancelled in money laundering case investigated by Scotland Yard police.

Metropolitan Police announce the cancellation of Police Bail for Mr Altaf Hussain and colleagues

"There is insufficient evidence to bring a criminal charge."
The Metropolitan Police Service have informed Mr Altaf Hussain, the founder and leader of the Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) as well as senior MQM members Mr Tariq Mir and Mr Mohammed Anwar that their bail has been cancelled in relation to the ongoing investigation into allegations of money laundering.
The bail cancellation notice for all three states that, 'at the time of writing there is insufficient evidence to bring a criminal charge.'
On hearing the news, Mr Altaf Hussain said, “I am relieved that the Metropolitan Police have decided to cancel police bail for myself, Mr Mir and Mr Anwar.
“I continue to deny any involvement in money laundering and would like to thank my millions of members and followers around the world for their ongoing support.”
