A Sincere request to the governments of Pakistan and Afghanistan for an immediate ceasefire.

Altaf Hussain, the Founder and Leader of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), addressed the governments of #Pakistan and #Afghanistan, emphasizing that it is entirely inappropriate for one Muslim nation to wage war against another, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.
This time is not only dedicated to routine worship but also calls for heightened spiritual engagement.
It is the duty of every Muslim to honor this sacred period. Hence,
I earnestly urge the leaders of both Afghanistan and Pakistan to reach out to the United Nations
without delay, advocating for peace talks and efforts to halt the ongoing conflict.
