For the sake of humanity, the Israeli bombardment of #Gaza must be stopped immediately. Altaf Hussain
#GazaGenocide
Urgent international action is needed to ensure the delivery of food, water, medicine, and protection to the oppressed #Palestinians, especially the innocent children.
Today, the world observes the International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression, a solemn reminder that every child, regardless of nationality or faith, deserves safety, compassion, and access to life’s basic necessities. Yet, the harsh reality in occupied Gaza tells a different story.
Thousands of Palestinian children have already been martyred in relentless Israeli airstrikes. Thousands more are gravely injured, fighting for their lives without access to adequate medical care. Millions of children are facing extreme shortages of food, clean water, and essential medicines. They are running from one place to another in desperate search of aid only to face more bombings even amidst their suffering.
This is not just a humanitarian crisis—it is a tragedy of unimaginable scale. Each passing day sees dozens more innocent children perish under a rain of bombs. Their small bodies lie buried under rubble; their cries for help echo in silence.
If there is any region in the world today where peace, protection, and urgent aid are needed the most, it is Gaza. And yet, on this day meant to honor and protect children affected by aggression, the global community remains largely silent on the plight of Palestinian children.
I appeal directly to
Secretary-General
and to the entire international community:
In the name of humanity, act now.
End the Israeli bombardment of Gaza.
Ensure immediate access to food, water, medicines, and life-saving aid for the oppressed people of Gaza, especially its vulnerable and suffering children.
Let us not allow another child’s life to be lost in silence.
Altaf Hussain.
