Altaf Hussain condemns the siege of Minhaj-ul-Quran Chairman’s residence and the Secretariat by Punjab Police

The siege of Minhaj-ul-Quran’s Secretariat is an unwise move.
The Founder and Leader of MQM Mr. Altaf Hussain has strongly condemned the siege of Minhaj-ul-Quran Chairman’s residence and the Secretariat, removal of barriers around the house, torture on workers and shelling.
In a statement Mr. Hussain said, “An operation against terrorists has been initiated. We unity at this time. The government should try to bring all political and religious parties on board. The siege of Minhaj-ul-Quran’s Secretariat is an unwise move. It will incite Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri’s workers. The government of Punjab should use its energy and resources against enemies of Pakistan not against Tehreek-e-Minhaj-ul-Quran. “
Mr. Hussain has demanded that the government should end the siege and stop torturing workers.
