The Punjab Government is acting nervously to hinder the wave of change sweeping across the province
The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has condemned the withdrawal of Dr Tahirul Qadri’s security by the Punjab government. He said that the Punjab government is greatly disturbed at the wave of change sweeping across the length and breadth of the Punjab province. He said this while talking to noted columnist and intellectual Mr Hassan Nisar on telephone.
Answering questions regarding the support extended by the MQM to Dr Qadri, Mr Hussain said that a revolution has become the fate of the country and the oppressed and deprived people of the country could no longer be stopped from making a struggle to change their fate by bringing an end to the out-dated political system of the country.
Mr Hussain told Mr Nisar that the Punjab government was acting in a nervous manner. “A lot of propaganda was done against the MQM in the Punjab in order to stop people from coming towards the MQM. But the fate was created such circumstances that a powerful voice for changing the decaying political system has risen from the Punjab itself.”
“People from Karachi to Khyber want a revolution in the country and the journey for that revolution has now started. This journey cannot be stopped now.”
He said that the writers and intellectuals wanting a real change in the country and an end of the feudal system should support this revolutionary struggle with their pen.
