MQM FILES DEFAMATION SUIT AGAINST TV ANCHOR

Muttahida Quami Movement ( MQM) has filed a defamation suit of 10 billion rupees against Kashif Abbasi, anchor person of a private TV channel, for wrongly accusing the MQM leader of having taken money from agencies.
The suit has been filed by Barrister Farogh Nasim on behalf of Deputy Convener of the Co-ordination Committee Dr Farooq Sattar in the Sindh High Court.

Founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has said that international experts should be called to investigate the death of JSQM chairman Bashir Qureshi. He said this while talking to JSQM leader Dr Niaz Kalani on telephone. Dr Kalani said that the medical board examining the chemical samples obtained from the body of Bashir Qureshi had also confirmed the cause of death as poisoning. He said that the investigations should be done by international experts and sought support from Mr Hussain in this regard.
