Members of the Co-ordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) visited the head office of the Khidmat-e-Khalq Foundation in Federal B Area and viewed the relief work being done for the affected people of the Abbas Town tragedy. They sat in the camps and received donations and other relief goods from the donors.

The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has authorized the Co-ordination Committee to decide about the future line of action after the expiration of the three-day deadline given by him for arresting the terrorists involved in the Abbas Town tragedy. “I had asked the Sindh Government to arrest the perpetrators of the Abbas Town tragedy within three days otherwise all business activities in Karachi would be suspended until terrorism was completely eliminated.”

The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has deplored the devastating bomb blast in Abbas Town in Karachi and expressed his deep sense of grief and sorrow on the deaths of innocent people. He said that the administration, police and law-enforcing agencies did not take any step to secure the area, although many people had died in an earlier blast in Abbas Town sometime back.
Condemning the blast, Mr Hussain said that the elements which were carrying out such barbaric acts were not even worthy of being called human beings.
