MQM’s Rabita Committee has demand information about workers who are victims of enforced disappearances within 24 hours. They added that police’s statement that they were not in their custody did not absolve them from their responsibility.

Another MQM worker Mohammed Adil died in hospital due to torture in custody by Rangers in Karachi. MQM worker Mohammed Adil was tortured by a baton on his head during arrest. Mohammed Adil was arrested on 8 February from North Karachi by Rangers.He was brutally tortured during custody and handed over to his family in critical condition. Mohammed Adil was on ventilator for two days in Abbasi Shaheed hospital in critical condition. Mohammed Adil died due to head injuries and blood clothing in the brain .
