PAK-INDIA WAR:

MQM SUPREMO ALTAF HUSSAIN WARNS OF CONSEQUENCES

LONDON. [UK]. May 11: In his 254th intellectual session broadcast live on TikTok, MQM founder Altaf Hussain delivered a fiery analysis of the recent conflict between Pakistan and India, claiming that Pakistan's armed forces emerged victorious while India’s military suffered clear setbacks.

Hussain highlighted the performance of the Pakistan Air Force, praising it as one of the most skilled and strategic forces in the world. “Once again, the PAF has proven it is not only smart but decisive in action,” he said, referring to Pakistan’s military campaign titled Operation Banyan al-Marsous, which he claimed dealt significant blows to the Indian side.

In contrast, India named its military response Operation Sindoor, a symbolic term referring to the sacred red mark worn by married women in Hindu culture. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had linked the name to the Pulwama incident, where terrorists reportedly killed men in front of their wives, “wiping off their sindoor.”

Hussain dismissed this symbolism as emotional theatrics, asking, “What happened to those bold claims made by Modi and his ministers before the war?”

He pointed out that despite India’s claims of being an independent and sovereign power, it was India according to several international media reports that reached out to the United States requesting mediation to halt the war. “If India is truly sovereign, why did it need a global superpower to broker a ceasefire?” he asked.

Altaf Hussain directed pointed questions at India’s political leaders, journalists, defense analysts, and intellectuals: “Can you still claim, hand on heart, that India is free from global influence? Or has it bowed before the might of the world’s superpowers?”

He argued that the ceasefire, though currently in place, was just as accidental and temporary as the war itself. “Both countries have been turned into warzones pawns in a global chessboard controlled by the powerful few,” he warned.

Hussain went on to present his broader worldview: “As long as one or two countries hold the fate of the world in their hands, true peace will remain elusive. Power does not respect the weak it crushes them. Power only negotiates with power.”

He urged developing nations to make a choice: “Live on foreign aid and remain enslaved, or stand tall with dignity and strength. We must abandon extravagance, embrace simplicity, and focus on internal strength.”

Refuting any personal ambition for political power, Altaf Hussain stated, “I don’t want to be President or Prime Minister. But if I were ever entrusted with authority, I would make Pakistan corruption-free without exceptions, whether civilian or military.”

He concluded by expressing his vision for Pakistan: a nation where the Constitution is supreme, the judiciary independent, Parliament sovereign, and every institution operates within its constitutional boundaries. “I dream of a Pakistan with real justice, zero corruption, and complete respect for the rule of law,” he said.
