In Hyderabad (Sindh), Muttahida Quami Movement's (MQM) workers had appeared before a special court established within the premises of Hyderabad Jail in connection with the hearing of their cases. As soon as they came out of the courtroom, several Vego Dalas were already present there. Plain clothes masked men, traveling in those vehicles, began arresting MQM workers and forcibly abducted 7 workers and disappearing them.

Earlier, former MQM Member of Assembly Nisar Panhwar, his son Mohsin Panhwar, Faisal Majeed, and several other workers had also reportedly been arrested from Karachi and enforced to disappear. Despite many months having passed, they have still not been presented before any court of law.
Where is the Constitution in Pakistan?
Where is the law? Where are the courts?
Where is the supremacy of the Constitution and rule of law?
I vehemently condemn in all possible terms the arrests of MQM workers in Hyderabad and appeal to the military authorities and the current government to immediately release all MQM workers.
