Sit-in participants demand surety about Chief’s health

Member MQM Coordination Committee Dr Farooq Sattar said Altaf Hussain’s lovers and supporters participated in the sit-in with great fervor continuously on third day.

Speaking at a press conference at the sit-in venue, Dr Farooq Sattar said MQM supporters and workers demanded the British government to ensure an appropriate care for their party chief. He said people kept expressing their concerns over Altaf Hussain’s illness and asking guarantee for not to be compelled in due process of justice.

He said in no circumstances, people could separate from their beloved leader. He said the sit-in is an evidence of love and affiliations with him. He said Karachiites had proved that the city is belonged to Altaf Hussain only.

He said doctors had taken various tests of Altaf Hussain, while MQM had been waiting for those reports. He also informed the media persons that Altaf Hussain’s legal council would decide to take next step regarding legal pursuit and submission of bail request.
