Solidarity rally to record history: Dr Khalid Maqbool

Deputy Convener MQM Coordination Committee Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui on Tuesday has affirmed that despite various conspiracies people still supported MQM Chief Mr Altaf Hussain.
 
Speaking at a press conference, Dr Siddiqui said the solidarity rally on 25th May (Sunday) would record a history. He said the so-called ongoing Karachi operation, which intriguingly went against MQM is clear rejection of its mandate. MQM Deputy Convener Nasir Jamal, members Rabta Committee Wasey Jalil, Khalid Sultan, Tauseef Khanzada MQM officials and workers were also present on the occasion.
 
Dr Siddiqui said Karachiites would reaffirm long affections to their unanimous leader Altaf Hussain. He said national and international conspiracies are being knitted against Mr Altaf Hussain to spare him from his people but we would never be apart from our beloved leader and he would lead us to our ultimate destination.
 
Answering to the media persons, he said we had no intention to spread any menace or create any chaos in the city but to be very positive to achieve our aim. He said law enforcement agencies would do their work accordingly and would hinder any misshape.
 
Replying to a question, he said MQM is the only political party which brought to middle class leadership in the national scenario and that is the reason people from all walks of life folded under MQM umbrella. He said we had been alienated from our people through serious conspiracies. He reaffirmed their belonging to Altaf Hussain said, they all are with their leader and no circumstances would create any situation to separate them from him.
 
Answering to a question regarding NICOP issue, he said he was present there while NADRA official in London taking photographs, imprinting fingerprints and other documents of Altaf Hussain. He said all was well and the official gave us the NADRA official token with its serial number and tracking ID number but conspirators suddenly came into the scene and made the situation irreparable.
 
Dr Siddiqui said kidnapped-killings had created chaos in the city because people started saying that if the terrorists wanted to kill our loved ones, should kill at once without torturing ferociously. He said Karachi had been treated as step mother, which had been born 78% of country’s revenue. He also said we want peace and rather being targeted, the peace should be installed through our cooperation.
