MQM leader Altaf slams coalition government of Pakistan over the passage of 27th Constitutional Amendment
While Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and the Pakistan People's Party have facilitated and managed the passage of the 27th Constitutional Amendment (CA) , they have actually sabotaged the spirit of the #Constitution. The ruined the law, the judiciary, the justice system, and their own promises, claims, and manifestos.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) always boasted about democracy and made tall claims to uphold democracy, the sanctity of the Constitution, the independence of the judiciary, and justice system now have sabotaged the Constitution, the law, the judiciary, the justice system, and their own promises, claims, and manifestos through passing the 27th Constitutional Amendment (CA). Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, imposed through form 47, used to frequently recite a famous couplet of poet Habib Jalib about 15 years ago at his rallies:
"I refuse to accept such a constitution, such a lightless morning. I do not recognize it."
Prime Minister Mian Shehbaz Sharif would recite this couplet with such passion and emotion that one day, in the heat of his speech, he even knocked down the microphone placed on the dice, and the people perhaps could not understand that in fact Shehbaz Sharif did not accept the Constitution of that time under democratic norms and values, the President and Prime Minister had powers, and in which all institutions and rulers were answerable. Shehbaz Sharif did not accept that Constitution; in fact, he wanted a Constitution through which all democratic normd and values would be eliminated. He wanted a Constitution under which the country would have a puppet Prime Minister, one without authority, with no independent judiciary, and in which rulers and institutions were not answerable to the Constitution and law, standing above the law and exempt from accountability.
He wanted all the sins of the looting of national wealth committed by the Sharif and Zardari families, all the corruption they had spread, and all their extrajudicial killings of opponents to be forgiven, and for the puppet Prime Minister to keep polishing boots with silk cloth. The people want democracy and justice. This is why Nawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam Nawaz, Shehbaz Sharif, and others would loudly raise the slogan “give respect to Vote” to mislead the people. . Let me ask when the elections results were changed under form 47, victors were declared losers, and vice versa, did the PML-N give respect to the people’s vote, or did they humiliate it?
By passing the 27th CA, have they respected the vote or spoiled its dignity?
After the assassination of Benazir Bhutto, the PPP raised the slogan “Pakistan Khappay,” and her son Bilawal Zardari raised the slogan “Democracy is the best revenge.”

and forming a coalition government, have the two parties not ruined the votes cast in accordance with the people’s aspirations? Did the PPP and PML-N preserve the dignity and respect of the people’s vote, or did they desecrate it? Where did the shame and modesty of the PPP and PML-N disappear when they did this?
The PML-N and PPP used to talk about democracy, judicial independence, and justice, but the way both parties have torn apart the Constitution and the justice system is known to the entire nation. Everyday, both the parties are tirelessly working toward the complete destruction of the justice system.
I am not an expert in numerology, but according to my research, the #27thConstitutionalAmendment passed by PML-N and PPP to secure the continuity of their family rule, if the digits 2 and 7 of the number 27 are added, the total becomes 9. Similarly, this amendment was made in the year 2025. If the digits of 2025 are added, the sum is also 9. If 9 and 9 are added, the total becomes 18. If the digits of 18 are subtracted, that again becomes 9. This amendment was made in the month of November, which is the 11th month of the year, and if the digits of 11 are subtracted, the result is 2. The central parties that played the main role in the passage of this CA are also 2 in number.
Therefore, the 27th CA is indicating that in the future, both the PPP and PML-N will vanish from political canvases. According to available information so far, two judges, Justice Mansoor Ali Shah and Justice Athar Minallah, have resigned in protest, while Pakistan’s constitutional and legal expert lawyer Makhdoom Ali Khan has also resigned from the Law and Justice Committee. I ask PTI workers: Where is the entire central leadership of PTI in this situation? Why have they not held a joint press conference so far regarding the 27th CA? The PTI leaders who visit Imran Khan do appear on TV talk shows, but after the approval of the 27th Amendment, why are they not coming out to inform the public? At this time, only the KP Chief Minister, Sohail Khan Afridi, has become the sole voice of PTI. Sohail Afridi is an energetic young man from the middle class. Is it appropriate for him alone to raise his voice considering the position he holds? Is it suitable for him to come out alone and lead a movement? Imran Khan had proposed Sohail Afridi’s name for the Chief Ministership, and he was elected by a large majority of elected members. Should he handle administrative affairs and matters of law and order in his province, or should he lead protest movements? Coming alone to the front line can be dangerous and harmful for him. Therefore, I advise PTI workers to protect Sohail Afridi and bring forward those leaders who held ministries in Imran Khan’s government and are still enjoying their lives. Why are they not coming forward? I say to Jamiat Ulema-e Islam, Jamiat Ulema-e Pakistan, and all religious parties of the country: When the Grand Mufti, Mufti Taqi Usmani, has issued a fatwa about the 27th CA, then how many rallies have the scholars of this country held according to the fatwa of the Grand Mufti? Where are the scholars of Pakistan? If you do not accept the fatwa of the Grand Mufti, then according to your own jurisprudence, why do you not inform the nation about the 27th CA? I feel it is my job to invite the nation to reflect. I tell the truth, and I will continue to speak the truth.
