Michael Rubin used extremely offensive language about #Pakistan and Pakistan’s armed forces chief, Field Marshal Asim Munir
Michael Rubin,
a senior fellow at American Enterprise Institute (AEI) and director of policy analysis at Middle East Forum (MEF), used extremely offensive language about #Pakistan and Pakistan’s armed forces chief, Field Marshal Asim Munir, in a tweet containing his article on 10 May, the words he used were deeply shameful, and every sincere Pakistani felt humiliated reading them.
Michael Rubin said in his tweet that “Pakistan is not a woman to marry, but a prostitute to be used and discarded.” The tweet also insulted Field Marshal Asim Munir. The tweet was so offensive that even repeating it causes deep embarrassment. As a Pakistani, he says his blood boiled after reading it, but he felt great sorrow seeing the silence of the rulers in response.
Why are the ministers of the government of Pakistan silent over the filthy language and insults Michael Rubin used about Pakistan and Field Marshal Asim Munir? Where is President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari? Where is Prime Minister of Pakistan
Sharif? Where is Federal information minister
? Where are Chairman PPP
, Where are head of PMLN
, and CM
? Where are the other federal ministers?
Those leaders of the Pakistan Peoples Party
and Pakistan Muslim League (N)
who loudly proclaim that “we cannot tolerate a single word against Pakistan” and that “if anyone challenges our honor, we will tear out their tongues” — where are they today? If they have honor, why do they not raise their voices in protest against Michael Rubin’s insulting tweet about Pakistan and Field Marshal Asim Munir? According to the speaker, national dignity demands that there should be protest over this.
The speaker says that, in his view, Pakistan’s president Asif Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz, Bilawal Zardari, and the military’s public relations wing ISPR should issue strong statements and protest against Michael Rubin’s tweet.
During the TikTok discussion session, Pakistanis from different cities in Pakistan as well as overseas Pakistanis also expressed their deep anger and sorrow over Michael Rubin’s tweet about Pakistan.
