MQM spokesperson’s statement in relation to recent publication in English newspaper regarding Mr Altaf Hussain’s appeal

MQM spokesperson has said in his statement in relation to recent publication in one of the Pakistan based English newspaper regarding Mr Altaf Hussain’s appeal made on 2nd November, 2020.He said to add further clarification to the malicious media campaigns and to struggle against inequality, to stand up for justice, liberty and freedom is a lengthy process which requires support at all junctures, from all those who are suffering. This support from the people is inevitable, and is provided without any compensation, however, every leader appeals to his followers, albeit Trump, Modi, Macron or even Imran Khan.However, leaders like Imran Khan who resort to seek donations from anyone, we solicit support from our people, who are standing shoulder to shoulder with us for the struggle of freedom.
Spokesperson said that we have never underestimated the cost for freedom of our suppressed, oppressed and underprivileged people, lives are lost in the millions, similarly to what happened during the independence of India, we are also fully aware that the cost of freedom of Sindh will be high, we are ready to pay the price.
Spokesperson further said that our struggle is not based on finance, on the contrary, our morals and respect for liberty is paramount to our struggle. The people of Sindh stand with Altaf Hussain for his belief and lifelong commitment, his ethical stand has never moved an inch, no matter how hard the deep state tries to entangle Altaf Hussain in contentious matters, the righteous always prevails.
