Allama Iqbal not presented the Ideology of Pakistan but the Greater Punjab: Altaf Hussain

Founder leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Altaf Hussain has exposed the facts behind the Allahabad sermon of Allama Iqbal and said that Allama Iqbal did not present the Ideology of Pakistan but the Greater Punjab for the protection of the interest of West Punjab.
He said in his latest address to the workers and public through social media. This address was telecast live.
He said that Allama Iqbal was on payroll of British Empire and was working for them. Doing the postpartum of the sermon of Allama Iqbal, in which he proposed that “I would like to see the Punjab, North West Frontier Province, Sind and Baluchistan amalgamated into a single state. Self-government within the British Empire or without the British Empire, The Punjab with 56 percent of Muslim population supplies 54 percent of the total combatant troops in the Indian Army.This percentage does best defenders of India against a foreign invasion “
Mr Hussain said that Allama Iqbal presented not the idea of Pakistan but the idea of greater Punjab but he was presented as a ideologue of Pakistan. He said that governments and the establishment of Pakistan distorted the history. The new generation of Pakistan is taught Allama Iqbal was a hero who dreamed for Pakistan.
Mr. Hussain said that the Muslims of undivided India were cheated in the name of Islam and Pakistan. He said that unfortunately, those who were agents of British Empire and against the creation of Pakistan were presented as hero of Pakistan whereas those who sacrificed for Pakistan were declared traitors.
Mr Hussain said that our relation with Pakistan is since 72 years whereas our relation with the India was since thousands years because India was the homeland of our fore fathers and nobody can deny this.
Mr. Hussain said that now Sindh, Baluchistan, KPK and Gilgit Baltistan
was become colony of Punjab through the military power and Pakistan has become Punjabistan. He said Mohajir, Sindhi, Baluch, Pashtuns, and people of Gilgit Baltistan want freedom from the clutches of Punjabistan. He further said that Mohajirs and Sindhi's are united for the freedom and their just rights.
He strongly condemns the atrocities and human rights violations in Pakistan by the state forces.
