The founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement Mr. Altaf Hussain said that those who struggled for rights of the people always had to tolerate unfavorable conditions and hardships but their determinations ultimately let them achieve the final destination.
Talking to a gathering at an elections’ camp in Lines Area, MQM Chief said that the sacred blood of the martyrs would not be wasted and Allah would reward their sacrifices. He said that the people of Lines Area always stood behind with MQM and showed attitude in hard times.
Mr. Hussain said that his party had been facing tough time because the workers and supporters were being arbitrarily arrested and their houses were raided by the Law Enforcement Agencies. He said that currently MQM workers were forced to live in hiding and could not do their political activities freely.
He said it was phenomenal that MQM had still been serving its voter despite all such conspiracies and deprivations. He appreciated the local administration for giving appropriate support and cooperation for conducting political activities.
MQM Chief appealed people to come out and cast their vote on 7th April and to make MQM’s candidate successful. He also prayed Almighty Allah to confer high eternal ranks to the party martyrs and also prayed for the success of MQM candidates.
Meanwhile, Mr. Hussain also appealed people to vote for MQM in NA-245 and PS-115 and to give them historical success in the bye elections. He directed his people, including workers and supporters to remain peaceful despite all the tactics of the conspirators to spoil the peace of the city.
