Mr Altaf Hussain, founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has stated that unprecedented victory of the MQM nominated candidates in the by-elections 2013 is in fact, a victory of all righteous Pakistanis on that we shall be ever so grateful to Almighty Allah. He added that it is Allah Almighty who grants reverence or irreverence and once again the Allah Almighty has granted reverence to the MQM thus proving that His blessings are with the Haq Parast (righteous). He said that MQM leaders, office bearers, parliamentarians and candidates, supporters have worked tirelessly day and night despite the odds and the negative propaganda campaign against the MQM. They have spread the righteous message and once again the people of Karachi and Mirpurkhas have demonstrated their total faith on the MQM in the by-elections by voting the MQM candidates to victory. This has once again proved that MQM has strong roots in the urban centres of Sindh thus rejecting the false and negative propaganda against the MQM. On the historic success of MQM candidates in the by-elections Mr Hussain saluted the Members of Coordination Committee, all wings of MQM, zones, sectors, office bearers of units, parliamentarians, nominated candidates, non-Muslim Pakistanis, people of all communities, relatives of martyrs, missing persons and detained workers; and each and every sincere, brave, committed and loyal worker and extended his hearties congratulations and tributes.
Mr Hussain reminded the newly elected representatives whether your constituent has voted for them or not, they must serve each and every citizen regardless and above political affiliation. He said that the Allah Almighty does not like rudeness and arrogance; therefore, we must show humility and modesty and express gratitude to everyone because despite the negative propaganda they voted for MQM.
