The Co-ordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has strongly condemned the killing Muhammad Gulraiz, a worker of unit UC – 3 of MQM Ranchore Line Sector, by the firing of terrorists belonging to the outlawed Amn Committee. It termed the killing a continuation of the conspiracy to destabilize the city by a creating law and order situation.
The Co-ordination Committee said that the terrorists, criminals and extortionists of the banned Amn Committee were actively working to create instability and a state of restiveness in the city by demanding huge extortion money, robberies, kidnappings for ransom and other heinous crimes. It was in pursuance of this vicious goal that they were targeting the MQM workers one by one and the killing of Muhammad Gulraiz is a continuation of the same conspiracy.
The Co-ordination Committee extended sympathies to the bereaved family members and demanded of President Asif Zardari, Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, Federal Advisor on Interior Rehman Malik, and Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah to take severe notice of the killing of Muhammad Gulraiz. It demanded that the perpetrators should be brought to book and given exemplary punishment.
