MQM condemns killing of police constable

The Coordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement strongly condemned the murder of a police constable in a targeted-killing in UC-11 of Paposh Nagar area.
In a statement, the Coordination Committee said that the murders of innocent civilians, including MQM workers, police, rangers and other professionals continued in the city on daily basis but PPP’s provincial government and Chief Minister politicizing the issue and playing blame-game.
The Committee said that it seemed like the terrorists were given license to kill people and they are doing it without any fear or disturbance throughout the city. It said that the government targeted police department with its corruption as kickback was taken on the buying of bullet-proof police vehicles and bullet-proof jackets, while police personnel killed on daily basis.
The Coordination Committee said that the tragedy of Karachi was that the government seemed not interested in providing security to the people or allowing them to take measures for themselves. It demanded Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan to take serious action to provide security and protection.
