Dr Tahirul Qadri thanks Altaf Hussain for practical support

The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain telephoned the head of Tehreek-i-Minhaj-ul-Quran Dr Tahirul Qadri and congratulated him on organizing a historic jalsa at the Minar-i-Pakistan in Lahore. He said that the today’s jalsa in Lahore was historic by any standards for which the leaders, office-bearers, workers and sympathizers of the Tehreek-i-Minhaj-ul-Quran deserve to be congratulated.
Mr Hussain lent his support to the view of Dr Qadri on abolishing feudalism, eliminating corruption and establishing system based on justice in the country. He assured complete co-operation to Dr Qadri.
Dr Qadri thanked Mr Hussain and the entire leadership of the MQM for their practical support. He also thanked him for the participation of the members of the Co-ordination Committee, parliamentarians and other office-bearers of the MQM in the jalsa. He assured that the co-operation between the two parties would continue in future as well.
