On the instruction of the Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement Mr Altaf Hussain the charity and welfare wing of MQM Khidmat-e-Khalaq Foundation KKF distributed grocery, mehndhi, bangles ,lamps and other relief goods among the deserving ladies belonging to Hindu community on the auspicious occasion of Diwali.
In this connection a ceremony was held at KKF central office in Federal B Area, which was attended in a large number by mothers, sisters and young girls of Hindu community
The ceremony was especially attended by MQM minority wing members Gardhari Lal, Mrs. Mangla Sharma, MQM (Women Wing) members Dr Fauzia Hameed, Farhat Jehan, Noor Jahan Zaidi, Shahana Ashar and Shahid Nisar.
While addressing on the occasion they said that Mr Hussain has always taught and disseminated the message of serving deserved people on humanitarian grounds irrespective of their religion, class, caste, language and creed and that is the reason that whether it is the holy month of Ramadan or Eid-ul-Fitr, Diwali or any other religious festival he has always helped poor, needy, suffering & deserving people financially in order to include them in the joys and happiness of different events.
They said that Mr Hussain firmly believes in religious harmony across the world and people in crisis are accruing benefits due to his immense and true love towards humanity. Nine Zero (90) is the only place where the religious festivals and holy occasions of different religions are celebrated in an atmosphere of religious fervor, amity and brotherhood with equal zeal & enthusiasm.
The women belonging to Hindu Community expressed their heartiest gratitude towards Mr Hussain for the distribution of grocery, mehndhi; bangles etc on the festive eve of Diwali and prayed for his health and long life.
