MQM demands action against Haqiqi terrorists

The Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) Coordination Committee (CC) has vehemently condemned the Haqiqi terrorists for attacking and setting ablaze the party’s office and subjecting the Haq Parast men, women and elderly to torture and injuring an activist with lethal weapons in Landhi.
The MQM CC in a statement issued Thursday said the pillion-riders Haqiqi terrorists on at least 12 motorcycles attacked one of MQM office located at Union Council No 6 in Landhi-6 on night of Wednesday. The Haqiqi terrorists destroyed the office furniture and fixture and then set it ablaze. The Haqiqi terrorist who were fully equipped with latest assault weapons also beaten the MQM workers and supporters who were present inside and outside the office.
The MQM CC further said that the MQM workers and supporters in reaction to that inhuman treatment, torture and destruction of MQM’s property without any fear, staged protest at Landhi Police Station but the Haqiqi terrorist had also arrived at the Police Station where they resorted to indiscriminate firing in which one MQM worker Rahil Shuja sustained bullet injury. The Haqiqi terrorists did not also spare women and participants of peaceful protest.
The MQM CC further said that the Haqiqi terrorists have been torturing MQM workers and supporters in Landhi and Malir for past many days but despite all means of approaching the authorities concerned and Police, Rangers and civil administration and the government did not take any notice of this barbarism. The Haqiqi terrorist had once again ion night of Wednesday attacked MQM workers and supporters, used weapons and destroyed party office but the Rangers and Police failed to stop them because of support from the government agencies to the Haqiqi terrorists.
It was very unfortunate that MQM’s lawmakers in national and provincial assemblies made all efforts to get help from Police  high-ups but to no avail and even Police refused to register FIR against the Haqiqi terrorists.
The MQM CC demanded that action against the Haqiqi terrorists should be prompted.
