The Muttahida Quami Movement has organized a protest demonstration in front of Pakistan High Commission in London against the extra-judicial killings of MQM workers, especially Aftab Ahmed, Coordinator of Dr Farooq Sattar and hundreds of forcefully disappeared party workers.
The protest rally was hugely participated by youth, elders, women and children along with MQM UK workers and office bearers, including members Coordination Committee Mustafa Azizabadi, Dr Saleem Danish, Izhar Ahmed Khan, Coordinator Manzor Ahmed, CEC member Tariq Javed and members UK organizing committee.
The participants also held placards, posters and banners condemning extra-judicial killing of Aftab Ahmed, forcefully disappeared MQM’s workers and other discriminations. They raised slogans against unconstitutional activism of Pakistani law enforcement agencies with MQM workers.
They demanded the Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif to arrest the Rangers personnel involved in custodial killing of MQM senior worker Aftab Ahmed and ordered to release all the forcefully disappeared workers. Some Pakistani expatriates handed over a petition against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for discriminations of rights.
