Altaf Hussain vows to continue struggle for downtrodden

Chief of Mutahidda Qaumi Movement (MQM) Altaf Hussain yesterday said that MQM believes in sacrifices for upholding truth and prepared to follow the path of Hazrat Imam Hussain. 

MQM is target of cruelty but we believe in humility and sacrifices. Our workers have laid down their lives and many more are ready to do so and atrocities, arrests and other coercive measures cannot deter MQM cadre from surrendering to forces of tyranny, he said addressing party leaders and workers at Jinnah Ground who were preparing " Haleem "  ( a traditional food dish) especially prepared during the month Muharram in particular. 

Mr. Hussain said that 38 years of history of MQM is testimony to the struggle, pain, sad moments and worst times but MQM emerged victorious of every targeted action against it, he added counting thousands of deaths of party workers and supporters in the last three decades. 
He asked the party leaders and workers to spread into eacvh and every nook and corner of the country and propagate MQM's agenda to end "status quo" and bringing the true democracy in the country.
