Why the Palestinian representative not taken on board in the 20-point peace accord between Trump, Yahu? – Altaf Hussain

The Israel–Palestine conflict is decades old historic conflict, and its primary rivals are the Israelis and the Palestinians. All major agreements and negotiations in the past to resolve this longstanding conflict have taken place between Israeli and Palestinian leaders. Whether it was the multilateral summit held in Spain in 1991, attended by the United States, Russia, Israel, the PLO (Palestinian Liberation Organization), and representatives of Arab states; or the historic Oslo Accord of 1993, which discussed the formula of a two-state solution in the presence of U.S. President
, Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, PLO Chairman Yasser Arafat, and others. Similarly, the Oslo II Agreement of 1995 was also signed by Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat and Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin. On January 13, 1997, another important meeting took place between Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat. On October 23, 1998, the Wye River Memorandum** was signed at the White House by Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and PLO Chairman Yasser Arafat in the presence of U.S. President Bill Clinton. In 2000, the Camp David Summit was again held between Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak and Palestinian President Yasser Arafat, with U.S. President Bill Clinton present. Likewise, meetings and agreements in 2001, 2007, and 2013–2014 were also held between Israeli and Palestinian leaders. Nonetheless, on September 29, 2025, after a lengthy meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, a 20-point peace plan was announced, in which no Palestinian representative was included. My question is: Are the actual parties to the Israel–Palestine conflict the United States and Israel? Is this issue between Israel and America? If not, then why was the Palestinian representative ignored in this peace plan? If an agreement was to be made for the resolution of this longstanding conflict, should it not have been between Palestine and Israel?
What name should be given to an agreement in which the main party to the conflict is not included? What kind of agreement is this in which not a single Palestinian representative was present? The Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas and his cabinet exist, then why were they not included? How could the U.S. and Israel unilaterally make such an agreement? Why are Pakistan’s political and defense analysts not raising this crucial point?
The U.S. President
and Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu have no right to decide the solution of this conflict by excluding the real party to it. A lasting solution to the Israel–Palestine conflict will only emerge when both actual parties to this longstanding dispute are included.
