MQM stands for peace, brotherhood and serving the humanity
The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has paid tributes to the workers and office-bearers of units, sectors, zones and districts, the Co-ordination Committee and the elected representatives for providing medical facilities to the mourners and for maintaining sectarian harmony on the occasion of Youm-i-Ashur.
Talking to the members of the Co-ordination Committee at Nine Zero, Mr Hussain said that the MQM workers and office-bearers participated in the mourning processions in spite of warnings of impending dangers and threats of terrorism. He also praised doctors and paramedics of the Medical Aid Committee of the MQM for providing medical assistance to the mourners at their camps.
Mr Hussain said that the selfless work done by MQM workers, office-bearers and elected representatives for maintaining sectarian harmony has proven it once again that the MQM stands for peace, brotherhood and serving the humanity.
Praising everyone for their work, he said that Allah would reward them for serving the humanity.
