Address to the workers of Gujranwala and Faisalabad zones of the MQM
The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has said that if an operation is started against the MQM by levelling baseless and concocted allegation, the honourable people of the Punjab would not let the entire province to be debased, and they would rise in protest against the persecution of the MQM. He said this while talking to the office-bearers and workers of Gujranwala and Faisalabad zones of the MQM on the telephone.
Mr Hussain said that billions of rupees were wasted in the past on vitriolic propaganda against the MQM in order to wipe it out. People were bribed, fake parties were raised and the terrorists were given the license to kill the MQM workers and plunder their houses. In spite of all the evil machination, the MQM not only survived but its revolutionary message spread in every nook and corner of Pakistan.
Mr Hussain said that the same old stories were being rehearsed once again that were spread before the start of the 1992 operation against the MQM. Once against the feudal lords, who were strong henchmen of the status quo, were joining hands in order to eliminate the MQM from their way by starting an operation.
Mr Hussain said that the people of Punjab would not remain silent if the MQM’s voice was suppressed by use of force in the form of an operation. “We want to warn the conspirators to refrain from plotting against the oppressed people of Pakistan and know that the mills of God grind slowly, yet they grind exceedingly well.”
Mr Hussain said that the time was not far when the people of Punjab would come forward in order to wash the stains of the allegations levelled them, and they would fail the conspiracies against the MQM. He said that the MQM had the blessings of Almighty Allah and support of the people of Pakistan. “They could not silence our voice in the past by using force, and we would not bow down before their tyranny even today.”
Mr Hussain asked the workers to have faith in the Justice of Allah and ultimately, the victory would kiss their feet.
The workers of the Gujranwala and Faisalabad zones that the MQM is the only political party of the people belonging to the poor and middle classes that was working to put the country on the path of peace, progress and prosperity. They said that they would protests in every city and every street of Punjab if force was used to crush the MQM in Karachi.
