Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has complimented the persons who have been conferred national awards in recognition of their outstanding services in their respective fields. Mr Hussain telephoned highly acclaimed dramatists Mr Anwer Maqsood and Ms Fatima Surayya Bajia and chairman of the Citizen Police Liaison Committee Mr Ahmed Chinoy and congratulated them on being conferred the Hilal-i-Imtiaz for their prominent services in literature and public service respectively on behalf of the workers of the MQM and haq parast public.
Talking to the Anwer Maqsood, Fatima Surayya Bajia and Ahmed Chinoy Mr Hussain said that it was for the first time the history of the country that the services of the people, whose forefathers had given immense sacrifices for the creation of Pakistan, were recognized. He said that the sense of deprivation could be removed by giving the rights of the meritorious in every department.
Anwer Maqsood and Fatima Surayya Bajia expressed their sentiments for Mr Hussain and prayed for his good health and long life. They also felicitated Mr Hussain on the conferring of Nishan-i-Imtiaz on Governor Sindh Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad.
Mr Hussain also telephoned noted journalists Azhar Abbas and Hamid Mir and congratulated them on being conferred the Hilal-i-Imtiaz for their prominent services in the field of journalism. He prayed for their success in the coming days.
