In a joint statement issued on Saturday, they said that it was strange that Imran Khan, Munawar Hassan and other political and religious parties’ leaders often made hue and cry over and staged protest sit-ins over the killings of Taliban’s terrorists, but they never bothered to utter even just two words of condemnation against those responsible for killing thousands of innocent people through their sinister acts of bombarding mosques, Imambargahs, churches, shrines, armed force’s headquarters and security installations and against those who slaughtered throats of armed forces’ personnel and innocent citizens.
“Even on Saturday, both the Tehreek-i-Insaf and Jamaat-i-Islami staged sit-in in Peshawar against drone strikes, but the parties neither condemned the Ancholi tragedy nor they condoled with the members of bereaved families whose near and dear ones lost their lives in the heinous crime,” they added, saying that people should completely boycott such hypocrite leaders and parties.
