Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) leader Altaf Hussain on Thursday appealed to Pakistanis across the world to become the ‘judge’ in his case against the biased nature of the state and the harassment approach of the establishment.MQM was founded by Altaf Hussain in 1984, and it is considered a secular political party. He raised the question about former PM Nawaz Sharif not visiting his country despite getting a diplomatic passport during his stay in London. Who is obstructing the return of Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, the elder brother of Pakistan’s PM, Shahbaz Sharif?Altaf Hussain lashed out at one of the sitting judges of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, Justice Qazi Faiz Issa, who is known as a daring judge in the country. He claimed that the judge said he derived his courage and strength from God and the Constitution on the occasion of the Golden Jubilee of the Constitution of Pakistan.
However, the military dictators of the country have made a mess of the constitution.Justice Mazahir Ali Naqvi imposed an embargo on Altaf Hussain. The embargo was only for six months. “The embargo restricted Pakistan’s mainstream media and newspapers from carrying, broadcasting, or publishing any of my statements, photos, or speeches since September 2015,” he claimed.“However, the unconstitutional embargo has exceeded the 6-month limit dozens of times, and the embargo has entered the year 2023.”Alas!” he added.In a question to Justice Issa, Hussain asked, “Do you feel this unlawful embargo is in line with the universal declaration on freedom of expression and personal and collective basic human rights?”
