MQM MNAs criticize govt. profit cut on national savings

The Members of National Assembly of Muttahida Quami Movement strongly condemned the unnecessary cut in the profits of national saving schemes and said that the government had deprived the people from their rightful rights.
In a joint statement, the MQM Parliamentarians said that the move could leave people in desperation who had been investing in national saving schemes on monthly basis. They said that such schemes were bought by the retired personnel to translate their life saving capital into little comfort but the government deserted them.
They said that rather announcing some more saving schemes the government cut the profits in the prevailing investments that increased people’s problems a bit more. They demanded the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to immediately take notice against the unnecessary cuts in government saving schemes and should reshuffle the policy in public interests.
