Funeral prayers of the member of Muzafati committee and worker of unit Naya-Abad, UC-3 in the area of AghraTaj, Mohammad Waseem Memon were held at the historic Jinnah Ground the other day and the he was laid to rest in Yaseenabad cemetery with groans and sobs of grieved family members and officials of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).
Mohammad WaseemMemon was killed in firing incident in Agrah-Taj, Liyari by notorious gang war criminals and his body was taken to Jinnah ground for funeral prayers. The prayers were attended by the deputy convener of coordination committee Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, member of coordination committee including Kanwar Naveed Jameel, AslamAfridi, Ahmed Saleem Siddiqui and Khalid Sultan. In charge and members of Karachi Muzafati committee, members of different wings of MQM and family members of the deceased were also present in prayers. The family members were shattered in grief and were being consoled by MQM’s office bearers.
Later Mohammad Waseem was laid to rest in the graveyard of Yaseenabad where prayers were held for his forgiveness. The Soyem would be held on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at 9:30 AM in Mashjid-e-Khizra, Hangroorabad near the residence of Mohammad Waseem while Quran recitation for women would be held at the residence of the martyr.
