Altaf Hussain asks female TV anchors, newscasters to condemn terrorists

Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain on Thursday exhorted the women anchor persons, newscasters and others associated with TV channels to openly oppose terrorists in their respective programmes as they (terrorists) are against women’s rights.
During his telephonic address at a huge gathering of elders held here at Azizabad’s Lal Qila ground under the auspices of MQM’s Elders Wing, Mr Hussain drew the attention of all the women staff associated with TV channels and urged them to speak up against the terrorists as their mission was to compel women anchors, newscasters, drama artistes and other females presenting entertainment programmes to wear shuttlecock Burqa so that they remain confine within the boundaries of their homes.
He called upon the entire female staff associated with TV channels that they should not only raise voice against those killing people in bomb blasts and were also against women’s rights, but also against those patronizing them.
