The Central Coordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has appealed to the business community, traders, shopkeepers and transporters to observe a peaceful day of mourning on 28th April 2013 by closing down their businesses  in protest against the bomb blasts at its office in Orangi Town and Qasbah Colony in Karachi that killed several innocent people and critically wounded  scores  who have been rushed to hospitals.
The Central Coordination Committee condemned this attack as inhuman, callous and barbaric that deserves severest of condemnation. It demanded of the caretaker Prime Minister, President Asif Ali Zardari, General Pervez Kiyani, Chief of the Army Staff, Governor Sindh province Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan  and the caretaker Chief Minister of Sindh, Director General of Sindh Rangers to act now to  prevent further loss of innocent lives of the MQM office bearers, workers and supporters and allow a level playing field to the MQM to run its election campaign or else the wrath of Almighty Allah will befall upon them.
