He was a candidate for NA-221 PS – 47 Hyderabad and was working as Joint Unit In-charge of Unit 16, Sector B, MQM Hyderabad
The martyred MQM candidate from NA-221 PS – 47 Hyderabad Fakhrul Islam had been affiliated with the MQM for a long time. He belonged to the Pakhtun community. He was greatly devoted to the MQM Founder and Leader Mr Altaf Hussain and was known in the party for his fearlessness and determination.
He was married and has left behind a widow and three children.
He had also been elected as a councillor in the past. He was presently working as the Joint Unit In-charge of Unit 16 of Sector B of MQM in Hyderabad.
